Welcome to Eystadracing.com!

Jun 3- I am finally ready to hit the race track this Sunday at GCS for the first time this year. I would like to thank my sponsors for making another season possible. I would like to welcome new sponsors Ament Spas & Pools of St. Cloud and Flour City Bending of Becker.

Sep 10- This last weekend was quite difficult and dealing with a couple DNF's and another DNS. Although I did manage to pull off a heat race win up in Grand Forks on Saturday. Now its time to put that weekend behind me and try and finish out the year on a high note. Next up will be GCS on the 23rd, so come on out and watch some great racing.

Aug 28 - The last few weeks have been tough with a couple DNF's but came back with a strong run on Sunday with a 6th place finish. Now it is on to Chateau Raceway on Friday, Deer Creek Speedway on Saturday, and Granite City Speedway on Monday. This weekend starts the invitational season, where there are many specials that are offered at many tracks. From here on out I have about 10-12 shows left of the season which always comes quick but look forward to this time of the year.

July 29 - The last few nights have gone pretty well. I have had several second place finished my heat races and several 7th place finishes in the features. If I can get the car ready by Thursday I will be heading to Willmar for thier Midwest Mod special and will be for sure racing on Sunday at Granite City.

July 3 - The last couple nights have been going great with a great run on Sunday at Granite City which I took second in the heat and just outside the top five in the feature. The upcoming weekend starts tomorrow night at Granite City Speedway for their July 4th special. Then its off to Viking Speedway in Alexandria, MN for the annual Modified Nationals. This takes place on Saturday and Sunday.

May 28 - I took a trip out west to Ada and Fergus Falls on Thursday and Friday. Ada went very well, starting in the 18th position and with a couple cautions I managed to cross the finish line in 7th place. The night in Fergus started out great with a second place finish in the heat race behind Dan Ebert. That finish gave me a 7th place starting spot and high hopes for another strong finish. Those hopes were washed away quite quickly after being put into the wall and ending the night and the weekend. With another rain out today, I will be for sure be at the GCS next Sunday and maybe somewhere Friday or Saturday.

May 17 - Check out the new addition of videos from the year. Go to the photos page and under the 2012 photos title there is a link to my Youtube channel. Leave a comment to let me know what you think.

May 13 - Opening night at Granite City Speedway didn't start very well, drawing 98 out of 100. I started 8th and finished 5th in the heat; which from there I knew I had my work cut out for me. I took the green flag from the 14th starting position. I moved into the top 10 pretty quickly and as the race continued, I kept a solid run going. At the checkers, I was in the 8th position. All in all it was a great season opener.

May 11 - I am heading out to Legacy Landscaping tommorrow for a car showing, so come check out the car and find that perfect plant for you mother!

Mar 31 - Pictures of the 2012 scheme are now up on the photos page!

Feb 10 - I am proud to announce a new partnership with Nelson's Portable Restrooms and Storage Containers of Rice, MN. They provide restroom services throughout central Minnesota and offer storage containers throughtout the entire state. Check out their website for all their services.

Dec 30 - I am excited to welcome FYE Motorsports as a partner for the 2012 season. Owner, Chris Stepan, is an active member of the racing community. He is the new promoter for Granite City Speedway in Sauk Rapids (formerly known as the Golden Spike Speedway) and has a history of promoting individual events such as the Spring Classic, Mod Nationals, and the Fall Classic. His events draw fans from across the state and have been known to draw drivers on a national level. FYE Motorsports has a solid foundation within the racing community and I am proud to welcome them aboard. For information regarding FYE Motorsports check out www.FYEMotorsports.com

Dec 29 - The schedule for 2012 is up. I will be competing weekly at the newly named Granite City Speedway in Sauk Rapids. More dates to be added, so check back throughout the offseason.

Oct 14 - I headed down to Elko Speedway for night one of their Dirt Nationals. I drew well but it didn't matter. The track was really wet when we went green and I dropped right to the back which is where I finished. Now that the real test was ahead of me, starting 15th, I was hoping to finish in the top ten. The race went non stop for twenty laps and I finished 10th.

Oct 6&7 - Headed to the Fall Classic in Alexandria, MN for the weekend. It was a track I've never been to. During my heat race it was hard getting used to not using my brakes so I finished 9th. The b-main was much better starting 13th and moving up to the 6th position. The event only took the top 3 to the main so my weekend was over.

Aug 26 - I headed up to Superior for the night with high hopes but those hopes didn't last long. Running third in the heat and the car feeling great, the motor blew up on just the fourth lap ending the night real quick.

Aug 4 - The last couple nights have not gone very well. In Princeton on the 22nd, I had motor issues in the B-Main and had to pull off, ending the night. Then last night in Ogilvie, I didn't even get to the first corner in my heat race. I was trying to avoid a hard collision with another car and ended up sliding into the wall damaging a few parts. But the next few weeks are going to be busy. With work slowing down for the season, the schedule is picking up. So check out the updated schedule as to where I'll be next!

July 16 - Tonight was a night of learning. The heat race didn't go well for many due to poor track conditions. So starting in the back of the feature and making many changes to the car, I had a good feeling going into the race. The car felt very good but starting in the back proved to be tough. Trying to get through the traffic wasn't going my way and had to settle for a 14th place finish. But I have Ryan's Race on Friday in Princeton, which is great event and look forward to supporting it for the third year.
